That is our passion. We are therefore very proud of our new collection that we will show in Hall 1, Booth #3.1 in Aalsmeer, The Netherlands. Every year we visit fashion and interior fairs throughout Europe. From Maison & Objet in Paris, Tendence in Frankfurt to the VT Wonen & Design fair in Amsterdam. They all show the latest developments and trends for the current seasons. A world of inspiration for our designers of Koen Pack.

Koen Pack has been nominated for the Greenovation Awards

Floriculture is on the move; worldwide there are many developments in the field of sustainable production and trading. Consumers also increasingly expect a sustainable product. Royal FloraHolland wants to encourage sustainability in the chain and therefore presents the Greenovation Award during the Trade Fair Aalsmeer. Koen Pack is proud that we have been nominated with our FSC-certified water-repellent Kraft paper sleeves.

For sustainable bouquets, there are sustainable paper sleeves.

In collaboration with our customers and suppliers, we have developed a series of FSC-certified sleeves made of water-resistant Kraft paper. The paper sleeves give the bouquet a natural and sustainable appearance. Because the Kraft paper is water-repellent, the packaging retains its good quality and natural appearance. The sleeves are biodegradable and recyclable and can be collected with used paper. There are various test reports for the water resistance, the strength of the paper and the degradability according to EN 13432 standards.

The Green Walk

This year we are part of the "Green Walk", with which we support the ambitions of the sustainable platform Floriculture Sustainability Initiative (FSI). FSI's ambition is to produce 90% of the flowers traded internationally by FSI members in a sustainable way in 2020. Sustainable for Dutch growers means MPS-GAP, Global-GAP or SKAL certified. With our participation in various platforms and materials with FSC and Seedling logo we contribute to this ambition.
